I have visited Andrew's Fine Violins several times. Whether the instrument was purchased/rented from them or not, I have always received excellent service. They are very knowledgeable and do not rush you. I strongly recommend them. All string instrument teachers I have spoken with have recommended them as the first choice as well.

Best rental place in the valley. My son’s school uses Milano’s and they wanted to charge literally twice as much a month for a double bass as Andrew. If you pay be the year you get a discount as well. I’ve never had a bad experience with their shop.

The process of buying a violin and bow went very smoothly! I arrived on time and they were immediately able to assist me and answer questions. They messaged me before hand to ask extra questions about my budget and preferences as well as already having violins and bows set aside for me when I got there. Trust went both ways, and I was able to try out the violins in a separate room. I was worried that someone would be supervising me (which makes sense given that these are expensive instruments). This just made me nervous because I don't like fiddling in front of others even though it's not a big deal. It allowed me to be completely comfortable with the space! They had a bin full of shoulder rests and a bow prepared in case I didn't bring one. I got to meet Andrew, and he helped me throughout the process. Everything was so clear and well explained! I definitely recommend purchasing stringed instruments and their accessories here!
